Account & subscriptions

Common guidance for creating an account, obtaining a subscription, updating configuration, and switching devices.

What do I need to set up a VPNLV account?

No email address is required. You can create an account with a username and password. Choose a username that is easy to recognize but not reused with other services, and store your password securely. After registration, open the user panel to view plans, obtain your subscription, and manage tickets. If you forget your login details, use the account recovery process in the user panel.

Where can I get my subscription after purchase?

After signing in to the user panel, open the client download area. Available options depend on your current subscription status. The marketing pages do not provide static installation packages or public subscription addresses. Sign in and obtain your subscription before downloading a client; download access is determined by the panel. Before importing it, make sure the selected platform matches your device.

How should I update my subscription link?

First sign in to the user panel and obtain the current subscription again. Then find the update subscription, refresh configuration, or re-import option in your client. You can keep the original configuration before updating, then check whether the region list has changed. If the client still shows old content, fully quit and reopen it, and confirm that you updated the VPNLV subscription entry.

Do I need to purchase again after switching devices?

No. You do not need to purchase again just because you changed devices. VPNLV supports an unlimited number of simultaneously connected devices, and the same account subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Each device still needs the appropriate platform client and an imported subscription. Traffic usage is based on the plan in your account.

What is VPNLV's logging policy?

VPNLV follows a no-logs service policy and does not record users' browsing content. Account and subscription management still requires retaining the service information needed for billing, traffic verification, and troubleshooting. Read the Privacy Policy before use to understand the scope of information processing. When reporting an account issue, submit only the details needed to identify the problem.

Connections & troubleshooting

Troubleshoot problems layer by layer, from system proxy settings and app routing to subscription updates and exit verification.

Why does the client show as connected when the target website is still unavailable?

First confirm that your browser or target app is actually using the network path provided by the client. Then check routing rules, the system proxy status, and the app's own proxy settings. Some apps retain old connections, so closing and reopening the app can make verification easier. You can also switch regions and compare the results to distinguish local network issues, route issues, and restrictions imposed by the target service.

Why isn't an app using the expected route?

Common causes include the app not reading the system proxy, a routing rule sending it directly, or an existing session created before the connection was enabled. Check the client's current mode and app rules, and make sure the target domain has not been excluded. Then fully close and reopen the app. If other apps work normally, check this app's independent network settings first.

What should I check when a subscription update fails?

First confirm that the subscription in your account is still active, then obtain the current subscription entry again from the user panel. Check that the copied content is complete, that the client has selected the correct update item, and that your local network can open the user panel. If the old configuration continues to return errors, delete the invalid item, import it again, and include the error message in a ticket.

What should I do if the connection fails after switching networks?

After switching from a home network to another network, the existing connection may retain an old network session. Disconnect the client first, confirm that the current network can access commonly used pages normally, and then reconnect. If the issue occurs only on a specific network, switch regions and check that network's proxy restrictions. Do not assume that one failed connection means the subscription is inactive.

How can I confirm that the connection is working?

After connecting, check the exit address, DNS resolution results, and the behavior of the target app separately. An expected exit region only shows that some traffic may have switched; you must also test the website or app you actually plan to use. If the browser works but a standalone app does not, continue checking routing rules and the app's proxy settings instead of repeatedly reinstalling the client.

Speed & routes

Build a comparable basis for route selection using the same network, time period, and target app.

What should I do when access slows down during peak hours?

First check your local network baseline without connecting to the acceleration service. Then compare actual access results across regions during the same period. Prefer routes with a suitable distance where the target app works normally, and avoid heavy background transfers at the same time. Recording the affected region, app, and time can help identify the issue through a ticket.

How do I choose the right regional route?

For everyday browsing, start with a geographically nearby region and adjust it according to the target service's regional requirements. VPNLV covers 100+ countries / 220+ routes, but the size of the directory does not mean every target app will produce the same result. When choosing, check connection success, complete page loading, and whether the app remains usable over time.

How can I make speed comparisons more meaningful?

First measure your local network baseline. Then keep the device, network, target region, and test method consistent, and repeat comparisons during the hours you commonly use the service. In addition to download performance, watch latency fluctuations, page response times, and the target app's continuity. Do not directly compare results from different networks or time periods, and do not choose a route based only on a single peak reading.

Why does streaming content vary by region?

Streaming catalogs, account requirements, and exit-location detection rules are determined by each platform, so the same route may produce different results on different platforms. After connecting to the target region, clear the old session or reopen the app, then check the actual catalog and playback. A regional directory only helps you choose an exit location; it does not guarantee continued access to specific content.

How should I troubleshoot access issues with AI tools?

First confirm the AI tool's own account status, regional rules, and service status. Then check browser cache, routing settings, and the exit region. If the web version works but the desktop app does not, check whether the app reads the system proxy. After switching routes, establish a new session so an old connection does not affect the result.

Billing & refunds

Review monthly subscriptions, traffic packages, upgrade options, payment methods, and the refund request process.

Which monthly subscription plans are available?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month with 60GB · ¥18/month with 250GB · ¥28/month with 500GB. Compare them based on your usual usage frequency and traffic needs rather than looking only at the total allowance. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date, and the current balance and subscription status are shown in the user panel.

What traffic packages are available, and do they expire?

Traffic packages remain available until used and never expire: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. They suit people whose usage is irregular and who prefer to pay according to actual consumption. Traffic packages and monthly subscriptions use different billing models, so compare them based on your ongoing needs and usage habits.

When does monthly traffic reset, and can I upgrade mid-cycle?

Monthly traffic resets on the activation date rather than according to the calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. The exact result is shown in the order details in the user panel during the upgrade process. Before continuing, check the current plan, remaining status, and target tier.

Which payment methods does VPNLV support?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. During checkout, use the payment options shown in the user panel and verify the plan name, billing method, and order amount before submitting. After payment, return to the user panel to check the order and subscription status, and avoid creating unnecessary duplicate orders.

How do I request a refund?

VPNLV offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area, link the relevant order, and clearly explain your refund request. Before submitting, check the order status and terms of use. Follow-up results are recorded in the ticket; do not submit sensitive account or order details on a public page.
